The Australian Grand Prix, held in Melbourne each year, utilises many of the signature products No Fuss Event Hire has to offer large scale events. Because of the scale of the event and the international attention it receives, all infrastructure and equipment i.e. grandstand seating, needs to be of the highest industry standard.
For the 2019 event, temporary roadways needed to be constructed prior to the event to allow bump in for many suppliers and event organisers. This was made possible with No Fuss’ I-Trac Temporary Roadways along with Trakmats which are durable enough to allow for vehicular access whilst giving a premium turf protection application.
As the venue is Albert Park Lake there is a great deal of landscape that needs to be preserved. This was easily achieved with temporary turf protection products such as Supa-Trac. With in excess of 8,000sqm of product laid at the event and such a high attendance of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, no turf needed to be replaced that the No Fuss Event Hire turf protection products were laid on. This represented an enormous saving for the Australian Grand Prix Corporation on turf replacement from any previous year.
No Fuss Event Hire’s equipment contribution to the 2019 event included:
Turf protection Heavy Duty I-Trac interlocking roadway system Supa-Trac temporary flooring x 7,123 sqm Vehicle Access roadways High Density Supamat (Trakmat) White + Grey x 1,200 sqm Pedestrian Walkways Supa-Trac event flooring Exhibitor displays Supa-Trac event flooring Presentation walkways Plastorip non-slip flooring Black + White x 560sqm Grandstands 14,150 x temporary Grandstand seating |
